$50 million Africa Investment Fund

 Moving to the Director for West Africa - Juliet Ehimuan.

Her segment was quite impactful, starting with “Ekaaro from Lagos” — meaning “good morning from Lagos” in the Yoruba language. She shared the beauty of Google’s innovation on Arts & Culture i.e. Cradle of Creativity, Africa Art at your fingertips from the Yemisi Shyllon Museum of Art, Pan-Atlantic University.

She also shared the following: 

  • $10 million SMB loans in partnership with KIVA, a recovery funds grant from Google for SMBs.

  • $3 million funds for Black Founders, and Google for Startup, and; 

  • $50 million Africa Investment Fund.
