Humanity & Dreamers

As I reflect on the Corona Virus (COVID-19) pandemic currently spreading across the world, I will like to say a BIG “THANK YOU”🙏 to all the people laboring tirelessly to mitigate and SOLVING THE PROBLEM this virus has plagued on the planet.

Many thanks to DOCTORS, VIROLOGISTS, VACCINE DEVELOPERS, WORLD LEADERS, VOLUNTEERS, QUARANTINOLOGISTS e.t.c.

James Allen said it best:

“The dreamers are the saviors of the world. As the visible world is sustained by the invisible, so men, through all their trials and sins and sordid vocations, are nourished by the beautiful visions of their solitary dreamers.”

He went further by saying:

“Humanity cannot forget its dreamers; it cannot let their ideals fade and die; it lives in them; it knows them in the realities which it shall one day see and know.

Doctors, Virologists, Vaccine Developers, World Leaders, Volunteers, Quarantinologists e.t.c. these are the makers of the after-world, the architects of heaven. The world is beautiful because they have lived; without them, laboring humanity would perish.” (James Allen "As a Man Thinketh")

So as you reflect, I think we should all understand the principles that keep the world moving and sustained for decades and centuries:

“Everything in the world works as a result of ACTION and WILLPOWER NOT(!) PASSIVITY” 💝

Africa Code Week 2017

Over the next 25 years, Africa’s working-age population will double to one billion, exceeding that of China and India. In the meantime, the digital skills gap is widening: while coding has the power to put millions of young Africans on the path to successful careers and empower them to build sustainable growth, companies in Africa are currently struggling to hire enough qualified IT talent. So the question is not whether a full life cycle of skills support for young people in Africa needs to be created, but when. Africa Code Week says: NOW.
