  Perhaps, we may have inspired this traction. Last year, only seven (7) Nigerian universities participated in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE-WUR) 2021/2022. Barely a 4% participation rate in relation to the aggregate population of Nigerian universities. This year, fifty-seven (57) Nigerian universities participated in the Times Higher Education World University Rankings (THE-WUR) 2022/2023. A jump from 4% to 26% participation rate.
