To the Esteemed Consumer Protection Department (CPD) of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), the Office of the National Security Adviser (NSA), and the General Public:

I, Aderogba Otunla, wish to address a matter of grave concern that has haunted me since 2021.

Over the years, my funds were illegitimately accessed and diverted at the United Bank for Africa (UBA) Plc. I want to express my profound appreciation to the top management of UBA and some of their diligent staff who empathetically collaborated to rectify this gross injustice. My faith in this institution remains unshaken, and I choose not to pursue any legal recourse against them. However, I am deeply pained to acknowledge that there were insiders within UBA whose actions enabled this malfeasance.

It's natural to question why I haven't taken this matter to the courts. But those familiar with the complexities and intricacies of the Nigerian Judicial System will understand my reservations. This public statement isn't an act of desperation, but a plea for my safety and peace. Since 2021, I've been subjected to threats and attempts on my life, an unimaginable ordeal from groups and families who know themselves, and the authorities know you too.

The essence of my message is straightforward: I desire no vendetta. I only wish to extricate myself from this harrowing cycle of threats and animosity. MY LIFE'S AMBITION HAS ALWAYS BEEN TO ALIGN WITH THOSE WHO AIM TO MAKE A POSITIVE IMPACT IN THE WORLD. Regrettably, my current adversaries do not share this vision.

How does one reconcile with attempts on their life, especially when the individual perseveres and thrives amidst adversity? AN APOLOGY CANNOT ERASE THESE SCARS, NOR CAN IT RESTORE LOST FAITH.

I fervently hope this statement brings light to my situation, and to those involved, let this be a testament of my wish for peace and resolution.

Thank you for your understanding and support.

Warm regards,

Aderogba Otunla

Something outrageous yet relevant, maybe "Jobs to Be Done: When Your Product Strategy is a Hitman"?

Introduction Picture this: you, in your pristine business attire, meticulously assembled to convey an aura of success – pressed slacks, shiny shoes, maybe even a power tie if you're feeling extra daring. Now, visualize that perfectly curated image lighting on fire. Not a raging inferno, mind you, just a persistent, smoldering burn right around the seat of your pants. It's subtle, insidious, and smells vaguely of burnt ambition. Welcome, dear listener, to my world circa, oh... let's say five years ago. I wasn't an executive. Not even a manager, really. I was cog #3542B in the grand corporate machine, churning out spreadsheets, drowning in meetings, and generally being spoken to in a language only vaguely resembling English. Buzzword bingo was the national sport in those hallowed halls. "Jobs to be Done." "Disruptive innovation." "Blue ocean strategy."  I'd nod earnestly, scribbling notes like my promotion depended on correctly parsing th...
