As We Step into 2025: Embracing Momentum, Purpose, and Innovation

"An object in motion stays in motion with the same speed and in the same direction."

Newton’s First Law reminds us that progress doesn’t happen by chance—it’s sustained by purpose, persistence, and passion. As we close the chapter on 2024 and embark on a new year, this truth resonates deeply. Growth, transformation, and innovation require us to stay in motion, pushing forward with intentionality and resolve.

The 31st of December is a perfect moment to pause, reflect, and give thanks.

To our valued clients:

We are profoundly grateful for your trust and support. You’ve been an integral part of our journey, and we remain committed to delivering even greater value in 2025. As part of this commitment, we’re enhancing our service model to provide greater flexibility for managing Google Workspace Business subscriptions in local currencies like the Nigerian Naira (NGN). With the adoption of the Pan-African Payment and Settlement System (PAPSS), small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) across Africa can now benefit from streamlined payment solutions tailored to their needs.

Since 2020, we’ve been developing a cutting-edge approach to managing cross-border transactions—one that blends the sophistication of FX hedging with the simplicity our clients need. By integrating platforms like GTBank, Paystack, Flutterwave, and Google Cloud Sales Consoles, we’ve created a portal (https://www.notifyic.com) that aggregates payments in local currencies while settling transactions in the most cost-effective global currency. This behind-the-scenes complexity remains invisible to our clients, ensuring a seamless and efficient payment experience.

While Africa’s diverse currencies and fragmented financial systems pose challenges, we are committed to adapting our solutions to meet these unique dynamics. Our mission is simple: to create a frictionless experience for SMBs while empowering growth and innovation across the continent.

To underserved schools and educators:

In 2025, we’re turning our focus toward supporting low-cost private primary and secondary schools in Nigeria with affordable technology tools. Many of these schools struggle to integrate essential systems due to cost barriers, especially in underserved regions like Northern Nigeria.

That’s why we’re introducing a subscription model—projected at just ₦36,000 annually—to provide tools like Google Workspace for Education integrated with result and biodata management systems.

Our goal is to onboard 3,000 schools by April 2025, enabling them to embrace technology affordably and effectively. We’re working closely with organizations like the Association of Model Islamic Schools (AMIS) and engaging stakeholders from the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS) to bring this vision to life. Together, we can transform the educational landscape for schools that have long been overlooked.

To tertiary institutions across Africa:

Universities seeking to improve their Webometric and THE-WUR rankings will soon have access to an automated, real-time monitoring system through our portal. By Q3 2025, we aim to provide a solution that empowers institutions to track and optimize their performance metrics effortlessly. This innovation has the potential to revolutionize how universities approach global rankings and position themselves for academic excellence.

A message for those standing still:

Newton’s First Law also reminds us that an object at rest stays at rest. If we do nothing, nothing will change. Progress demands action. Growth requires momentum. And transformation begins with a single step forward. So, as we step into 2025, let us commit to staying in motion—pushing past inertia, overcoming obstacles, and pursuing our goals with relentless determination.

2024 was not without its challenges, but we closed the year stronger than ever. This strength is a testament to resilience, teamwork, and the belief that no matter how tough the journey, better days lie ahead.

As we move forward, let us embrace the opportunities before us with courage and hope. Let us innovate fearlessly, collaborate generously, and impact lives profoundly. To everyone reading this, the best is yet to come.

Wishing you a prosperous, fulfilling, and inspiring 2025.

Warm regards,

Aderogba Otunla, Ph.D.

Something outrageous yet relevant, maybe "Jobs to Be Done: When Your Product Strategy is a Hitman"?

Introduction Picture this: you, in your pristine business attire, meticulously assembled to convey an aura of success – pressed slacks, shiny shoes, maybe even a power tie if you're feeling extra daring. Now, visualize that perfectly curated image lighting on fire. Not a raging inferno, mind you, just a persistent, smoldering burn right around the seat of your pants. It's subtle, insidious, and smells vaguely of burnt ambition. Welcome, dear listener, to my world circa, oh... let's say five years ago. I wasn't an executive. Not even a manager, really. I was cog #3542B in the grand corporate machine, churning out spreadsheets, drowning in meetings, and generally being spoken to in a language only vaguely resembling English. Buzzword bingo was the national sport in those hallowed halls. "Jobs to be Done." "Disruptive innovation." "Blue ocean strategy."  I'd nod earnestly, scribbling notes like my promotion depended on correctly parsing th...
