SHOOT FOR THE MOON

As we journey through life, we gather unique experiences and insights that can spark inspiration in others. While some might doubt their ability to keep lighting the way, I believe our passion and wisdom only grow stronger with time.

Recently, I spoke with a remarkable friend, a tireless worker who embodies this spirit. When I asked him about his future, he boldly declared his dreams of reaching for the highest office.

Instead of surprise, I felt a surge of admiration. He wasn't just aiming high, he was inspiring others to believe in their own limitless potential.

This is the heart of inspiration: witnessing another's pursuit of their dreams and recognizing the spark within ourselves.

So, as we step into 2024, let's remember that age is just a number, and our ability to inspire is a fire that never fades.

Let's CONNECT with one another, INFORM each other, and INSPIRE the world to SHOOT FOR THE MOON.

In the meantime, the digital skills gap is widening: while coding has the power to put millions of young Africans on the path to successful careers and empower them to build sustainable growth, companies in Africa are currently struggling to hire enough qualified IT talent. So the question is not whether a full life cycle of skills support for young people in Africa needs to be created, but when. Africa Code Week says: NOW.
