This is an earnest and well-intentioned message from me to our esteemed

This is an earnest and well-intentioned message from me to our esteemed:

(a) 1 (One) Principal Wolf.

(b) Fewer than 50 'Frenemies'.

(c) A multitude of wonderful individuals, honorable people, and exceptional families hailing from Jalingo.

This message was motivated by an astrologer's prediction to whom I subscribe. For those unfamiliar with astrology, the biblical story of the Magi is often seen as an allusion to it. The Magi were enlightened men from the East, guided to the birthplace of Jesus by a celestial body. Some speculate this star to have been a comet or a supernova, while others perceive it as divine signaling.

I'm conscious of some viewpoints that vehemently oppose astrology. The Bible, in places like Deuteronomy 4:19, cautions the Israelites against becoming enthralled by star worship. In Isaiah 47:13, God reproaches the Babylonians for their astrological practices.

Select the poison that best aligns with your palate or Opt for what resonates with you.

I appreciate astrology, as it enlightens one about their life's purpose and advocates the dignified and respectful treatment of all individuals. After all, every person we encounter on life's journey has been brought into existence by God for a reason, and many find it a beneficial instrument to comprehend themselves and their role in the universe.

On this occasion, the guide suggested explicit clarification, as the establishment of healthy boundaries can sometimes be misinterpreted as harboring resentment or ill-will.

Many are acquainted with certain aspects of my persona and conduct. Entertaining resentment, animosity, or grudges is something I find incompatible, as it hampers my performance and productivity overall.

For sometime now, I have been "plugged in".

The term "plugged in" is often used in a figurative sense to describe someone who is deeply engaged, informed, or connected with something. The phrase comes from the idea of plugging an electrical device into a power source to turn it on or make it operational.

For instance, in the context of work or a project, being "plugged in" could mean that a person is fully committed, focused, or deeply involved in their tasks. They might be working tirelessly, constantly keeping up-to-date with new information, and staying connected with their team or clients.

Nonetheless, I am very conscious of my battles, primarily motivated by my resolve to deal with a particular `Hush Pastor` from Jalingo, known to many as `Main Wolf`. But having addressed this issue as prescribed by scripture, I have returned to focusing on my work.

1. I BEAR NO GRUDGES TOWARDS ANYONE:

Honestly, I harbor no ill will towards anyone, not even the `Hush Pastor` or `Kura-Kura` (as my former boss would put it) from Jalingo. However, I must maintain my vigilance until my funds at UBA are restored. In due course, history will look back on the era when he misbehaved and received a stern reprimand from me. Perhaps due to his local, problematic, and extremely stubborn pastoral nature, he doesn't wish to “surrender the king”, akin to the endgame in chess. But this stubbornness is a reflection of him, not me, as everyone is well aware.

2. REALIZE THAT I AM NOT YOUR ISSUE, AS THERE ARE CONNECTING FACTS YOU MIGHT BE UNAWARE OF:

2.1 A LOOK BACK:

I came on board at Bingham University in July 2009, along with my former boss, colleague, and friend, Sir Muff. Mr. Abada, as he was then known, and his colleague, Mr. Kamoh (likely a Professor now), were among the established staff members we met upon arrival. They, among other exceptional individuals, were the pioneering staff who laid the groundwork for the university. Many might be unaware that the appealing university they relish today was crafted through the tireless efforts and sacrifices of numerous honorable people. Given its Christian roots, the university's construction went hand in hand with ongoing academic sessions. Simply put, you needed to engage in the task with faith and conviction that “this is God's work”, and all those involved were driven not by salaries, money, or incentives, but by a higher purpose.

The enormity of the task at hand called for everyone to multitask and sacrifice on an elevated level. There was a phase when I served as the Webmaster, instructed several classes, acted as the Financial Secretary of the Co-operative, and managed GBG FCT - Abuja, among other roles. Some may recall that there was a time when I consumed energy drinks as if they were water. The consistent intake was noted by one caring chaplain, leading to considerations of implementing a policy around energy drink consumption on campus due to health concerns. Their intention was sincere and empathetic, aiming to safeguard people's wellbeing, even when individuals couldn't look out for themselves. The exact reason for the change in the situation eludes me, but I do remember enjoying the beverage throughout my tenure.

I make a conscious effort to do the right thing whenever possible, and this is not specific to the late Dr. Abada Atubase—it could have been anyone. You can rest assured that I will always strive to do my best in any given circumstance.

2.2 THE ESSENCE OF GODLY LIVING AND CONTENTMENT:

This narrative's objective is to provide context, painting a picture of the late Dr. Abada Atubase. Known to be outspoken, a proficient and affable mathematics lecturer, and a brave individual, he had a fondness for a certain beverage—the one famously transformed from water by Jesus. Above all, he was an honorable man who personified and exemplified 1 Timothy 6:6.

This verse was authored by Apostle Paul, writing to Timothy, a young pastor, about the vital importance of leading a godly life infused with contentment. The full verse is as follows:

"But godliness with contentment is great gain."

In this context, Paul is expressing that leading a life that brings pleasure to God, or godliness, holds immense worth. When this godliness is paired with contentment, its value multiplies. Contentment refers to the state of satisfaction with one's possessions, not displaying indifference towards material things, but expressing gratitude for what one possesses without envy of others' belongings.

Paul underscores the point that when we find satisfaction in what we have, we've obtained genuine wealth. With our needs met on both physical and spiritual fronts, we're liberated from the constant yearning for more, enabling us to concentrate on the truly significant aspects of life. 1 Timothy 6:6 serves as a reminder that true wealth is derived from leading a life pleasing to God and finding contentment in our possessions.

2.3 NAVIGATING THE MYSTERIES OF OUR DIVINE GUIDE:

I suspect the assassination schemes commenced after the wolves descended upon Bingham University, seeking tarnishing details to discourage me from pursuing my UBA reversal. However, they found no damaging information concerning the charming, dark-skinned Ade. With the universal understanding that 'no one is perfect', it's noteworthy that even among Jesus's 12 disciples, one went astray. So how was it that they found no dirt on him?

The explanation is straightforward. I never perceived Bingham University as merely a workplace, but as God's mission. I gave it my best within the designated time frame, conscious of the certainty that disregarding a divine mandate leads to inevitable consequences, symbolized by Jonah's swallow by a whale. Furthermore, evading the task doesn't eliminate it; it merely delays the inevitable, suggesting there are no shortcuts to unraveling these profound mysteries. Drawing from past experiences, I can assert it's about embracing your destiny. The sooner you shoulder your cross and embark on your unique journey, the more swiftly you'll understand the enigmatic workings of our divine guide.

There exists a single indicator to ascertain if you're engaged in God's project: "It will be an incredibly strenuous, challenging, and laborious task." This is not intended to intimidate anyone; it's merely a plain truth. While the journey might be difficult, I can assure you that, in the end, the rewards will justify the effort.

2.4 DIVINE MYSTERIES AND INEXPLICABLE DEMANDS:

When God assigns a task, all overt signs or data that could help assess the magnitude of the work or effort required over time, whether from you or your team, often become elusive. Honestly, I wonder why God (for Christians), Allah (for Muslims), or The Divine (for others) would employ such an approach, considering that comparable strategies are largely discouraged across all religions. I begin to grasp why Jonah chose to flee; in truth, it seemed the logical decision, since both undertaking or neglecting the task seemed equally daunting.

There's no reason for shame, as we all are in the same boat. It resembles sitting in a class with your peers, grappling with a challenging problem posed by the teacher, which no one can solve. Under such circumstances, no one feels particularly bad or indifferent. However, I still question the common assertion that “God is love, is kind, humble, peaceful, etc.” and yet when one rejects a seemingly impossible task (which is quite natural), God opts for a rather extreme reaction - like having you swallowed by a whale. It's an intriguing paradox.

If the story holds true in its historical context, I confess it raises concerns. One wonders, 'where did God pick up such an idea?' Surely, it must have been influenced by something in the past - a topic worthy of a future conversation.

Just like everyone else, I believe in seeking small signs for confirmation. In our case at Bingham University, we didn't have a vast body of water nearby like Jonah did, so the possibility of encountering a whale was virtually non-existent. There was a small river or drainage that overflowed occasionally on the university grounds, but I don’t recall seeing even a crab there throughout my tenure.

Validating the assignment was crucial for me. A God capable of orchestrating a surprise as dramatic as having a man swallowed by a whale could just appear after 10 (ten) years to inform you that what you've accomplished wasn't the assigned task. What then would one do?

I believe that we (My Boss, Sir Muff, and I) simply trusted that God wasn't playing tricks on us. The first 2 or 3 years were somewhat challenging, but honestly, I can't recall how we persevered through those difficult times, looking back now. But I can assertively say this: I don't think we perceived it as a mere workplace during our journey, but rather as a mission spanning almost a decade.

2.5 AS PETER OBI SAID, "GO AND VERIFY":

Just imagine a pack of wolves descending on the University, eager to uncover damaging information about Ade?

I suspect they might have been informed that it's apparent they're not football fans, likely oblivious to the actions of Lionel Messi while he was at Barcelona, among other things. To put it politely, the `Alpha Wolf` was bestowed with the title of Acting (Ag.). For some reason, he may have thought his manipulation tactics were top-tier, but strangely, he couldn't secure the role permanently. Wasn't he perturbed being regarded as a mere ACTOR?

I'll say this with care: my Bachelor's (B.Sc.) degree is in Accounting. When God granted me the chance to practice somewhat, serving as the Financial Secretary of the University Co-operative Society for two terms, I ran unopposed (from March 2011 to June 2016), a tenure spanning about 5 years and 4 months. Like Peter Obi said, “Go and Verify”.

I am poised to impart a valuable lesson to him about the consequences of spreading false narratives about anyone, even under the guise of a rebellious clergyman.

2.6 MY SHEPHERD HAS ALWAYS PROVIDED, I HAVE NEVER BEEN IN WANT:

Let me delicately state that the Lord has ALWAYS been my shepherd, and I have never been in want.

At one point, I started to become aware of the false, negative narratives that the wolf pack was spreading throughout the community. Some even went to the extent of creating fake profiles using my identity and partaking in unimaginable activities. I made no attempts to challenge these assertions, and for reasons unknown to me, their activities came to a halt. Perhaps, I surmise, their tactics proved ineffective and those in my network identified discrepancies.

They lodged false complaints about a myriad of things, and I trust that relevant authorities concluded their investigations in 2021, finding all allegations to be baseless. They reached out to friends, clients on social media, and more. Essentially, they exhausted every avenue, all the while misdirecting my funds.

Some among the wolves couldn't fathom the fact that while they managed to send their children to study overseas via scholarships or other means, I paid for my own education through honest, hard-earned income. With utmost care, among other, let me share just two (2) qualifications from the United Kingdom (UK) alone:

(a) A Postgraduate in Information Technology from Teesside University, and;

(b) An M.Sc. in Information Systems from Anglia Ruskin University

I learnt under a great boss, and as Peter Obi often says, “Go and Verify”.

Bear in mind that I am not yet married. Therefore, it is implausible to credit the accolades I obtained through diligent and honest hard work to any financial backing from a wife or her family.

I share this to clarify that I am not disparaging those who have received support from their spouse or in-laws. Seeking help from others when necessary is nothing to be ashamed of; after all, they are your family.

However, isn't it unsuitable, immature, and impolite for someone, who frequently touts their masculinity yet relies on assistance, to mock another who has independently built successful businesses from the ground up?

Have you ever considered whether collaborating with you and your team at the University was a Blessing or a Curse, or is it because I've remained silent on the matter?

(a) It's public knowledge that the diverted funds from my UBA Bank Account have not yet been reclaimed.

(b) I lost five (5) plots of land at Airport Road in Abuja.

(c) My car was misplaced at the Lagos Port, among other losses.

How much profit did I gain from the contract? What were my total losses? How many attempts on my life have I dodged? Since 2020, what amount has been returned to me? How often have you and your group disrupted my current business operations?

Some individuals from your group made contact with a few of my clients. The only conceivable way they could have discovered these individuals was by printing my business's Bank Statement. Besides going to such lengths to cause harm, I understand what sparked your interest – the cash flows you witnessed, further evidence that the Lord has been my shepherd. And, ultimately, everyone is aware of who truly bears the surname that ends with "LACK".

3. A DECADE LONG TREND OF AVERAGE 10 DEATHS PER YEAR IS PUBLICLY KNOWN:

A significant oversight of the wolves is the following:

Wolves' internal dialogue - "We're uncertain as to the extent of Ade's knowledge regarding our actions and intentions."

This uncertainty is their primary vulnerability. The logical approach for them would have been to:

Contemplate and try to view the situation from a different perspective to figure out how their covert actions could have been exposed - to whom, since when? And why is it essential for them to cease bothering Ade, so as not to corroborate what has been observed over the years?

Upon seeing the Facebook post about Dr. Abada Atubase's passing, I embarked on a thorough investigation, seeking to piece together the puzzle, while deliberating over some crucial questions concerning what could have happened to him. Given that I was also dealing with an escalating issue, I needed to arm myself with knowledge to best safeguard my interests:

(a) I did some research and found that there have been an average of 10 deaths of staff per year in the past decade. The causes of death have varied, but the most common have been illness, accidents, and natural causes. “If you do something often enough, a ratio will appear.”- Jim Rohn

(b) While the annual death toll fluctuates, the predominant causes persistently remain illnesses, accidents, and natural causes.

- A handful of fatalities have also been attributed to acts of violence and suicide.

- The year 2019 witnessed the highest death toll in a single year, recording 13 deaths.

- Conversely, the year 2017 marked the lowest death toll within a year, with 8 deaths.

- Illness emerged as the leading cause of death, accounting for 47 fatalities.

- Accidents trailed closely behind as the second leading cause, resulting in 35 deaths.

- Lastly, natural causes claimed 33 lives, positioning it as the third most common cause of death.

(c) I'm inclined to think that your fixation on Ade has clouded your ability to make sound decisions. This pattern has been recurring, evident before my consultancy stint at the University, during my tenure, and even after.

The investigators are aware that I bear no ill will towards anyone; after all, they've been piecing together the puzzle for a while now.

Another issue I have with the pack is their tendency to ridicule my mode of communication. Regardless of how objective my statements are, they focus on the linguistics, scoffing at me with comments like, That guy only knows how to speak sophisticated English.

Even when the Main Wolf wreaked havoc on an institution consisting of over 30,000 staff and students, using a carefully planned strategy, Ade—who had caused no harm to anyone for years—kept being targeted repeatedly. Interestingly, it was the same Ade who assisted in uncovering the scheme.

You all need to let go of this fixation and concentrate on restoring and enhancing your institution and community, aligning it with global standards of sustainability.

Apart from the detrimental cultural atmosphere of the environment, unfit for any teaching or learning, the community leaders and elders' lack of understanding regarding the essence of Education is disconcerting. It's apparent through their actions—the education they've received should have shaped their instincts, preventing them from committing such missteps.

CLOSING REMARKS:

This disclosure aims to shed light on any misdirected anger or bitterness towards Ade. Countless individuals, including staff and students, have spent decades living in oppression and apprehension. Rest assured, I harbor no ill will towards anyone. Consider this perspective: perhaps God deliberately froze my assets and allowed my life to be endangered. Thus, in the process of defending myself and attempting to retrieve my funds, I could liberate thousands of terrorized students and staff who have lived in fear for decades.

No one can predict or plan these series of events as they unfolded; only a divine power can mastermind such an orchestration. In the past, I've repeatedly stood up for students, and on unique occasions, they've witnessed my advocacy for their parents, uncles, aunts, or relatives in academia.

Sometimes, I feel fatigued from constant battles and wars fought in defense of what is right. However, if I shirk from these responsibilities, the very God we claim to be compassionate and loving might send a whale to swallow me if I fail to follow his instructions.

Curiously, I researched extensively on whales, as it's prudent to understand them, just in case one gets swallowed someday.

Whales' lifespans differ depending on the species. Some of the longest-lived include:

Bowhead whale: 200-250 years

Blue whale: 80-90 years

Fin whale: 80-90 years

Humpback whale: 45-50 years

Orca: 50-90 years

Other species have shorter lifespans, such as:

Sperm whale: 60-70 years

Beluga whale: 35-50 years

Short-finned pilot whale: 45 years

I suspect that if God intends to chastise you with a whale, it'd be the venerable Bowhead whale: 200-250 years, possibly around 230 years old and with never a touch of mouthwash or toothbrush. Indeed, the putrid breath and oral stench might serve as an instrument for divine lessons.

I understand that some argue there's no scientific evidence supporting the survival of a human for three days within a whale's belly.

Nonetheless, consider these intriguing incidents:

(a) In February 2018, a sales clerk at the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) in Makurdi, Nigeria, claimed that a snake swallowed 36 million naira (approximately $100,000) from her office safe.

(b) In March 2018, a Nigerian senator, Shehu Sani, claimed that monkeys had stolen 70 million naira (about $194,000) from his farmhouse.

(c) In August 2022, termites were blamed for devouring vouchers totaling 17.128 billion naira (about $43 million) from the Nigeria Social Insurance Trust Fund (NSITF).

In Nigeria, the narrative of Jonah isn't only believable but also plausible.

Thank you.

Something outrageous yet relevant, maybe "Jobs to Be Done: When Your Product Strategy is a Hitman"?

Introduction Picture this: you, in your pristine business attire, meticulously assembled to convey an aura of success – pressed slacks, shiny shoes, maybe even a power tie if you're feeling extra daring. Now, visualize that perfectly curated image lighting on fire. Not a raging inferno, mind you, just a persistent, smoldering burn right around the seat of your pants. It's subtle, insidious, and smells vaguely of burnt ambition. Welcome, dear listener, to my world circa, oh... let's say five years ago. I wasn't an executive. Not even a manager, really.
