“Data! Data Data! I can’t make bricks without clay!”

- Arthur Conan Doyle, Writer, and Physician

Using Google Trend’s data for the PAST FOUR (4) HOURS to check what has been happening in Osun State. Here are the insights:

- Davido 40%

- All Progressives Congress (APC) 12%

- People's Democratic Party (PDP) 45%

- Labour Party (LP) 3%

Is there a correlation between the traction of Davido and PDP?

I also checked the overall country’s traction using the same PAST FOUR (4) HOURS data, and as you can see:

- Davido 47%

- All Progressives Congress (APC) 14%

- People's Democratic Party (PDP) 18%

- Labour Party (LP) 5%

In the meantime, the digital skills gap is widening: while coding has the power to put millions of young Africans on the path to successful careers and empower them to build sustainable growth, companies in Africa are currently struggling to hire enough qualified IT talent. So the question is not whether a full life cycle of skills support for young people in Africa needs to be created, but when. Africa Code Week says: NOW.
