Student Innovation Challenge (SIC) Bootcamp 2019

Either of the two (2) happened:

(a) It’s either I was playing an imaginary piano, or;
(b) I was completing the predictive modeling script for predicting football matches using historical data sets. Hmm! interesting research... Lol

Anyways! that is the Student Innovation Challenge (SIC) Bootcamp 2019. The SIC is a nationwide innovation challenge which held across the six geo-political zones in Nigeria. Over 5,000 student-entrepreneurs and innovators contested for seed funding opportunity for their startups and inventions. Out of this number, 21 participants emerged as finalists. The finals provide student innovators the opportunity to pitch their inventions to a robust national audience led by the Vice President of Nigeria, State Governors, Heads of Relevant Government Establishments and Captains of Industry. The initiative is one of Civic Foundation for Innovation’s contribution to changing the job-seeking mindset of Nigerian youths to entrepreneurship and self-reliance by encouraging them to develop skills for self-employment, providing access to seed funding and micro credits.
